Very Fair-ish

So every year we go to the Utah State Fair. We went opening day this year because it was only $2 and kids 5 and under are free. So we only had to pay $4 and then $5 for parking. Much cheaper than on the regular days when it is $7 per person. They had this cool Tiger show this year. They had these Bengal Tigers from a tiger preserve and they did tricks. They had four different colors of Bengal's, they were pretty. The kids really liked that too. We walked around and saw all the animals. My children love animals, just like their Mom. We ate some BBQ dinner, at a very expensive price, we all shared one meal. Cody wasn't hungry because he ate on the way. We looked around at all the shops, we didn't buy anything but it is fun to look. Tabatha always rides the ponies and at $4 a pop she was the only one to ride the ponies. In fact I didn't want her to ride at all because it is expensive but she ran ahead of us and just got on without paying. Yes, I guess I stole a pony ride. We might have to pay twice next year. The kids got some balloon animals, that were short lived, but entertaining for awhile. That was about it. Tabatha kept begging to go on rides, but we are trying to save our money for our upcoming vacation, so no rides this year.

I am so glad that you all got to go and have a great time. I wish that we were able to make it with you. It's like a tradition. Oh well. At least they got to see all the cute animals! Nice pics!

Your kids are not afraid at all to put their little hands right up to those animals! Very brave! And I got lots of laughs from the hugging pig pic- too funny!
