Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Breaking Dawn

Well I have completed the series. It took me a week to finish Breaking Dawn. I think it was one of my favorites, mostly because it is all perfect through most of the story. There is no real tragedy until the end. Most of the story is a fairy tale come true. Some of the end was slow and I just kept thinking are they still talking about this. But it ends differently than expecting. It was good! So now I am done reading for the year, unless my sister talks me into reading something else and she has to have it on CD.

Bailey & Brooklyn's B-Day

Today is the twins b-day. They are two years old. It is hard to imagine, I know, but time flies. It seems like a long time to me, because I am in the heat of it all. It has been a roller coaster ride and I am sure I am in for more of the roller coaster with what lies ahead. When I was a little girl I only wanted two children and they were to be twin girls. I would talk to them in heaven, with my head looking up toward the sky, I would tell them to be good for Jesus and one day they would come down to earth and I would take care of them. It is amazing to me how thin the veil really is. I know Tabatha was born first because if the twins were I probably wouldn't have had her. My Nana was a twin, I always thought that was so cool, and Bailey and Brooklyn were born on her death date. I know she was up there telling them it was time to go into the world on that day. My Aunt Colleen was in town for the day of their birth and she needed them to be born on that day.
We had a family BBQ yesterday for their party. We had 30 people here swimming and then eating, it was fun. They got this snail and slug bug that play music and sing like different animals. This morning they were crying because I had to change their diapers before they could play with their bugs, they wanted them so bad. They also were calling for Gizmo, that is my sisters dog. We were watching him for a week while they went to bear lake and they took him home yesterday.

We are so proud to have all our little girls in our life. We have made it one more year and we hope God grants us more to come.

New Moon

So I just got done listening to New Moon today. Man that book was a little depressing, but very good and now I am on to Eclipse. I am kinda bummed it took me so long to listen to these. I would have wanted to join my sisters for the prom in Arizona a couple years ago. Oh well, I am just glad I am reading them now before the movies. This way I can see everything they missed out and how well they portray the Author's story. I promise if you start reading these books you will get hooked. Although I have not found a man that has read these yet. It is definitely a chick thing.

Missing Tabatha

So yesterday our family went through a fright. I know now what goes through someones mind when their child goes missing. Tabatha likes to ride her bike in the garage, since I don't have eyes everywhere I don't let her go anywhere with out me. She had gone off from the garage over to the park, two house down, or to the pool area, across the street. Yesterday my husband phoned me at work to ask if Tabatha has ever left the garage and where she goes. I explained she has and she goes to the park or pool area. He said she is not there. I asked if he has looked everywhere in the townhouses. He explained she was definitely not in the townhouses. I asked how long she had been missing and he explained about 15 minutes. She had finished dinner early and gone out to, she calls it practice her bike, he finished eating, cleaned up the girls and went out to check on her. The garage door was open and she was no where to be seen, along with her bike. He was now scouring the whole foxboro community looking for her. I suggested we phone the police, since this was not like my daughter. He made me phone the police. I dialed 911 and told them my daughter has been missing for about 15-20 minutes. They asked from what city, I said North Salt Lake. she then transferred me to the Salt Lake Police, which then had to transfer me to North Salt Lake police. They asked my address, phone number, how long she was missing, what she was wearing(I also told them about her purple princess bike) and how old she was. They then sent out the police. I was still at work and Cody called me back sobbing, saying she is gone, she is gone. I then started sobbing, because this is not like my husband, I immediately left work at 6:30pm. Crying all the way home and thoughts you may imagine going through my head. I was dialing my Mother, I don't even know how I drove without dying. Almost home I got a call from the Bountiful police, saying they have found a little girl and are trying to verify if it was her, they asked me her name and I told them. They said she was at the lifeline building, which is about a mile or so from our house, I thought instantly that it was her. I explained I was right by there and they directed me there. By the door was Tabatha's bike, I was ecstatic. Tabatha was alive. There were three cop cars there and they followed me home, to make sure I was alright. Cody was angry and rejoiceful all at the same time. I called my Mother, she had called my whole family and they were on their way to come search, she was grateful and would phone all of them back and tell them the good news. I am in awe and it is kinda surreal to me still. I am glad my Tabatha is alive and is back with us. We had long talks that night.

Twilight

So my Sisters have been obsessed with a book called twilight, ever since it came out. They even went to some prom for twilight in Arizona a couple years ago. Now that there is a fourth book out I decided to start listening to them. I listen to books because I don't have time to read, I get interrupted. I just finished Twilight and I am hooked. It makes me feel like I am in high school again, I was hot those days, now I am a Mom and have let myself go a bit. Anyway back to the book. It is really good and I will start New Moon tomorrow. I am hoping it will be slow at work so I can get most of it done. If you haven't read these books, I encourage it before the movie comes out. I can now get into all the hype that my sisters' talk about. I want to be a pretty vampire!
