First Newport Coast Stay
So our next stop was Newport Coast for three nights. We got a new unit with a beautiful view of the ocean and golf course. We arrived about 20 minutes early and our room wasnt ready yet. So we had the car in the carport waiting. We turned off the engine but kept the radio, GPS and DVD players going. When we went to drive up to our unit the battery was dead. The resort couldnt jump us, due to liability. Luckily one of my co-workers was there and he was able to jump us. We got settled in and then went grocery shopping. We had to make lunches for Disney and every where else we went, I didnt want to spend 40+ for every meal. The next morning we woke up and went to Disnleyland, the happiest place on earth and of course where dreams come true. I totally become a kid again when we go there. I just want to go go go. We take pictures with every character we see. I am a Disney Freak and I would live there if I could. The first ride we went on was The Haunted Mansion done up as Nightmare Before Christmas. We always go to Disney in the Fall, the last time I saw the mansion as the mansion was nine years ago. It was fun to see some new Halloween decor that I havent seen before. We also went with some friends that had never been to Disney before, so it was fun to see their reaction to things. We attended Disney the last day of our first stay at Newport and on October 4th we headed to San Diego. I will post San Diego in a couple days.
I am a working Mom with three children, all girls. I have

If you want something to last forever, you treat it differently. You shield it and protect it. You never abuse it. You don’t expose it to the elements. You don’t make it common or ordinary. If it ever becomes tarnished, you lovingly polish it until it gleams like new. It becomes special because you have made it so, and it grows more beautiful and precious as time goes by.
“I do not believe that sheer suffering teaches. If suffering alone taught, all the world would be wise, since everyone suffers. To suffering must be added mourning, understanding, patience, love, openness, and the willingness to remain vulnerable.” Anne Morrow Lindbergh
